When I was young I had crippling social anxiety, and a debilitating inferiority complex, I was extremely sensitive, and I tried so hard to fit in (unsuccessfully) that I had no idea who I was, what I felt or what I truly wanted or needed.
I knew that I wanted to feel more confident, to not let my fears control me, and to make the most of my life. So in my early twenties I threw myself in at the deep end, put on a back pack and headed off to Japan; the first of many adventures solo travelling and working around the world. I figured I would either sink or swim!
I was often way outside my comfort zone with no external support, but in those challenging spaces I discovered who I really was, my strength and what mattered to me, and I connected with a guidance inside me that always seemed to take me in the right direction.
It led me through life-changing experiences in many countries, eventually to teach others how to connect with their own intuition and inner wisdom, to tap into their purpose and potential, and to bring about greater wellbeing and positive changes in life.
But while I would love to say that I always listened to my inner guidance, the louder part of me that never felt good enough kept pushing me to get ahead. I was stuck in my head and disconnected from my body, and I seldom stopped long enough to acknowledge how far I’d come.
Over the years I have burned out, lost momentum, doubted myself and sought answers in all the wrong places, assuming that ‘experts’ would know better than me what my right next steps should be. Of course this flawed thinking led me to feel lost, frustrated and off-track with no idea of what direction to go in.
Eventually I gave up pushing.
It was then that I discovered breathwork…

My Breathwork Journey
Through many years of yoga, meditation, healing and transformational coaching I have worked with mindful breathing. It’s powerful. But when I fully dived into breathwork, that was when my life started to change hugely.
Challenges still came, but I responded to difficult situations differently. I felt more trusting of life, more grateful and appreciative, more myself and more peaceful and at ease, no matter what was happening in life around me. And as I positively changed on the inside, so my outer world began to reflect that too.
But the most gratifying thing was how profoundly it was helping my clients. I’ve never seen something work so consistently well for so many different people with such different issues. And breathwork works whether you believe in it or not. It’s a natural, powerful way to clear the mind, release what no longer serves you, and ignite personal transformation.
It’s opened up my world, given me purpose and direction again, and ignited a passion that I’m so excited to share. Breathwork is so simple and accessible, yet has the power to awaken something within each of us—a deeper connection to ourselves, a renewed sense of possibility, and a life lived with greater clarity and freedom. It’s not just a practice; it’s a path to becoming the most empowered, authentic version of yourself.
